Tech Ideas

Get your brains going...we've been asked about our "Technology Vision" and asked for our "Technology Dream List" and I'm hoping you can revisit your ideas and help me, Traci and Troy out. We're looking into technology grants that might help us purchase all those technology tools we wish we had to implement all those great ideas. Here's the catch, while we can come up with things we'd love the school to have, the key is having definitive ways to use them (i.e. lesson plans).

So, here's where we need your help! If you have ideas for ways to use technology in your classroom - projects, daily lessons, etc., we're asking for a brainstorm of these ideas. Also, if there are specific technology tools you'd love to use, please share those too! We're hoping that everyone's brainstorms will help us narrow down the grant finding process.

THANK YOU!!

It's August - have you finished the book??

Can you believe August is here? Wow, time flies!

Have you finished reading the book? What were your final thoughts? Any ideas to bring back to the upcoming school year?

See you shortly!

Chapter 7 - Thankful for a Challenge!

Here's a challenge, Horizon readers!

I can't agree enough with how important it is to be thankful. Not just the quick 'Thanks', but an honest to goodness, sincere 'Thank you!' to someone else.

I challenge you to try giving some sincere thanks to someone else - significant other/child for doing something around the house, the bagger at the grocery store, etc. - and see how it feels. Record your experiences in the comments!
