Here's a challenge, Horizon readers!
I can't agree enough with how important it is to be thankful. Not just the quick 'Thanks', but an honest to goodness, sincere 'Thank you!' to someone else.
I challenge you to try giving some sincere thanks to someone else - significant other/child for doing something around the house, the bagger at the grocery store, etc. - and see how it feels. Record your experiences in the comments!

I told my neighbor that he made my gratitude list, and that Susie and I really appreciated him and his wife. We kid each other a lot so I think the compliment surprised him. He recipricated, and seemed to really enjoy being aknowledged.
Dria,
Thank you for setting up this blog. I know it is forcing me to use this new technology that I have not used before.
I recently read that it is also important to say "You're welcome". When you do something for another person and they say, "thank you", don't just say, "no problem" or "forget it", say "you're welcome".
Good point, Laura. I agree, it's important to reciprocate that acknowlegdement.
